NET-A-PORTER en Gemfields introduceren capsulecollectie voor Space for Giants

NET-A-PORTER en Gemfields lanceren samen een sustainable collectie. De bedrijven werpen met hun capsulecollectie een spotlight op the elephant in the room. De gehele opbrengst van de collectie gaat namelijk naar het goede doel: Space for Giants.

Space for Giants 

Space for Giants zet zich in om de olifanten in Afrika in hun natuurlijke habitat te beschermen. De wilde dieren zijn door toerisme namelijk nog kwetsbaarder voor uitbuiting. De gehele winst uit de verkoop van de capsulecollectie gaat dan ook rechtstreeks naar Space for Giants.

Trend du moment: oversized. Het begon een paar jaar geleden met boyfriend blazers en baggy broeken. Tegenwoordig kiezen we voor oversized shirts met als extra touch een kleurrijke print. Love it!

Capsulecollectie 

De exclusieve capsulecollectie is samengesteld uit duurzame en functionele items. De op safari geïnspireerde items zijn van renowed brands als Burberry, Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen en Chantecaille. Deze collectie is in samenwerking met Gemfields en upcoming designers Herue, Gisch en Bassike tot stand gekomen.

De capsulecollectie is onderdeel van Walk for Giants, een inzamelingsactie en awareness-campagne die zich inzet voor het behoud van Afrikaanse dieren in het wild.

Beelden 

Voor de Space for Giants-capsulecollectie nam niemand minder dan Francesco Carrozzini de fotografie voor zijn rekening. Riccardo Ruini was de creative director en modellen Arizona Muse en Selena Forrest poseerden voor de campagne. De beelden werden geschoten in Enasoit Game Sanctuary in Laikipia, Kenia.
