Physically being in a different city usually makes me go to a different space in my head too. 💭 As a new member of the 30s-club I feel like this is such an interesting phase, with a few impactful, vulnerable and complex decisions coming closer than ever. All that buying houses/career moves/marriage/etc stuff I always thought of as 'we'll see in 10 years' is suddenly happening all around me, lol. Out of all of the tools to guide us through different questions – from talking to friends to reading books and creative brainstorming – perhaps one of the most powerful ones is already inside all of us. Intuition. That deep understanding for a situation that just comes natural, but that's sometimes hard to explain or justify. This year, I‘m trying to say 'no' more and just go with what I feel. A big step has been cutting down on work and saying ‘no’ to projects and opportunities. Stuff I maybe dreamt about and that would be fun to work on and feed my ego (and probably my bank account). But tapping into intuition, I feel like I might not need more work right now, I just want more connection to people around me. Basically, I'm learning to believe my feelings and it's a pretty cool thing. What's a time when you really trusted your gut feeling in business? And how did that work for you?
