Is dit de schattigste Instagram-pagina ever?

Een Instagram-pagina vol met schattige foto’s van stelletjes en het verhaal hoe zij elkaar ontmoet hebben? Brooklyn Sherman vond dat het tijd was om er eentje op te zetten. De 27-jarige vrouw uit Los Angeles richtte de pagina ‘The Way We Met’ op en al snel stond deze vol met de leukste verhalen. Dat moet dan wel de schattigste Instagram-pagina aller tijden zijn!

“I met my now fiancé at a YouTube event in Florida where we became good friends. A year or so passed and we saw each other again at another YouTube convention where I sarcastically told him to date me. He ended up taking it seriously! Last June he proposed to me on stage at yet ANOTHER YouTube event and now we are getting married in October. All of this because of our mutual love for uploading to YouTube!”

“We worked at the same company. She was in the key punch department (they don’t have those anymore) and I was in the blueprint department, so our paths would cross. I took her out to lunch at the cafeteria, and wouldn’t you know it, I didn’t have any money on me so she had to pay! The rest is history. I’ve been paying ever since, gladly. We’ve been married for over 58 years.”

“Early in 2013, I went to a psychic and the woman told me I was going to fall in love, and when I met that person, I would know immediately. She mentioned he was artistic, as was I, but we wouldn’t share the same medium. She also said he would appreciate my quirkiness. On Memorial Day of 2013, I moved into Chris’ building for my art residency. He was the RA on my floor and immediately noticed me in my eclectic purple jeans. I noticed him too. When I first walked into my room, I realized I didn’t have a bed and the ceiling above my shower was peeling. Chris came to my rescue, bringing me a brand new mattress and after enough pestering, repaired my ceiling. A few days later, Chris took the plunge and left a handwritten note on my door. We went on our first date a week later and the rest is history!”

“I never imagined that serving coffee was how I’d find true love. We were both working at different Starbucks when I first met him. I was grabbing coffee with friends at his store and introduced myself. Sparks were definitely flying but the relationship didn’t unfold until a couple months later when I was transferred to work at his Starbucks location. Coffee is the way to many people’s hearts, and I definitely took a double shot.”

“We met on November 26th, 2012. I live in Copenhagen and he lives in the UK, but we met at a Swedish House Mafia concert when he was visiting Copenhagen. According to him, he spotted me and followed me outside to talk to me. We had our first kiss that night and he asked me to be his girlfriend a month later. Since our relationship is long distance, we have to skype to keep in touch. The first couple of times, I noticed he had a giant stuffed Panda in the background. He said, “My grandma gave it to me when I was born and I haven’t had the heart to get rid of it, it’s my greatest possession.” When he came to visit me for the first time in January of that year, we exchanged belated Christmas presents. I bought him a Panda to say, “just so your other Panda isn’t lonely anymore.” To my surprise, when we exchanged gifts, he got me a Panda also!! Our nickname for each other has been Panda ever since. We are just two Panda’s in a long distance relationship.”
