Lady Gaga verbreekt verloving

"Het ging gewoon niet meer", zegt het management van de 32-jarige zangeres. "Er is geen dramatisch verhaal. Soms loopt een relatie gewoon stuk." Geruchten dat het niet goed zou gaan tussen de twee gingen al langer rond. Het is voor Lady Gaga de tweede verloving die stukloopt. Ze was eerder verloofd met Taylor Kinney.

Chanel reageert op overlijden Karl Lagerfeld

"Dankzij zijn creatieve genialiteit, vrijgevigheid en uitzonderlijke intuïtie was Karl Lagerfeld zijn tijd ver vooruit en heeft hij op grote schaal bijgedragen aan het wereldwijde succes van Chanel", zegt topman Alain Wertheimer in een statement. "Vandaag zijn we niet alleen een vriend verloren maar ook een buitengewoon creatieve geest die in de vroege jaren tachtig carte blanche kreeg om ons merk opnieuw uit te vinden."

An extraordinary creative individual, Karl Lagerfeld reinvented the brand’s codes created by Gabrielle Chanel: the CHANEL jacket and suit, the little black dress, the precious tweeds, the two-tone shoes, the quilted handbags, the pearls and costume jewelry. Regarding Gabrielle Chanel, he said, “My job is not to do what she did, but what she would have done. The good thing about Chanel is it is an idea you can adapt to many things.” A prolific creative mind with endless imagination, Karl Lagerfeld explored many artistic horizons, including photography and short films. The House of CHANEL benefited from his talent for all the branding campaigns related to Fashion since 1987. Finally, one cannot refer to Karl Lagerfeld without mentioning his innate sense of repartee and self-mockery. Zieke Ozzy Osbourne zegt shows af

Ozzy Osbourne is nog steeds niet fit genoeg om op te treden. De 70-jarige rocker, die herstelt van een longontsteking als complicatie van een zware griep, heeft zijn concerten in Australië, Nieuw-Zeeland en Japan van volgende maand afgezegd. Dat heeft zijn vrouw Sharon Osbourne via Twitter bekendgemaakt. Wel zegt Sharon dat hij aan de betere hand is. "Het ergste is achter de rug. Zijn dokters hebben hem geadviseerd zes weken thuis te blijven om te herstellen."
