Prins Harry en Meghan Markle nemen afscheid

It's almost official! Vanaf morgen zijn prins Harry en Meghan Markle officieel royal-af, waardoor er een hoop gaat veranderen voor het stel.

Niet alleen raken ze hun koninklijke titels kwijt, hebben ze geen royal duties meer en hebben ze de UK verlaten, ook nemen ze afscheid van hun website en Instagram-kanaal.

Harry en Meghan mogen de titel 'royal' namelijk niet meer gebruiken, waardoor ook de merknaam Sussex Royal komt te vervallen.

Afscheidsbericht

Op hun Instagram-kanaal hebben de twee gisteren daarom een afscheidsbericht geplaatst, waarin ze hun followers bedanken voor alles. "Bedankt voor deze gemeenschap, voor de steun, de inspiratie, gedeelde verbintenis en al het goeds in de wereld. Harry en Meghan", aldus het stel.

Het is nog niet bekend wat de twee allemaal van plan zijn. Wel heeft Meghan haar acteercarrière weer opgepakt en haar eerste rol in een Disneyfilm bemachtigd. Deze zal vanaf aanstaande vrijdag op streamingdienst Disney+ te zien zijn.
